FAQ: Why does my custom domain remains "Not configured"?
Question:
The custom domain I added remains on status "Not configured" in red in the domain list. What is going wrong?
Answer:
In order to check why the domain is not configured please follow the steps below chronologically:
Processing time
Is it more than 24 hours ago since the moment the DNS records for the custom domain were updated? Wait at least 24 hours, is your custom domain still on "Not configured" status, go to step 2.
DNS record verification
Are both records (CNAME and TXT) created under the correct (sub)domain?
Are both records (CNAME adn TXT) pointing to the correct target?
Check DNS
Use online tools (like: https://dnschecker.org/all-dns-records-of-domain.php or https://mxtoolbox.com/DNSLookup.aspx ) to check the DNS records.
