FAQ: Why am I not able to add a custom automation domain?

Question:

When trying to add a custom automation domain the option to select the automation tab is greyed out and unclickable. Why is this?

Answer:

For automation it is only possible to use 1 custom domain. In comparison with Canvas where you can add multiple (sub)domains. After initially replacing the fefault automation domain by a custom domain this option will be greyed out.

In order to change the current domain you will need to remove the active custom domain first. After this the tab is clickable again and you can configure a new automation domain.
