How to create a canvas tag?

Tags can be useful in Jobrock to easily filter or find a canvas page. This article explains how to create canvas tags.

Canvas tags can be useful to find or filter canvas pages in Jobrock. When creating more and more (different) canvas pages, tags can help you organize your canvas dashboard.

Canvas pages have different types but can also be created for different purposes. Social campaigns, events, or mini 'working at' sites for clients. Many different purposes and maybe many different clients for which pages can be created within one Jobrock environment. This is where tags can help to easily group or filter Jobrock canvas pages.


Go to the Tags screen in te Jobrock admin module via Admin > Tags.

How to create a canvas tag?

  1. Click the Create new tag link in the top right corner.

  2. Add the name of the tag you want to create.

    TIP: You can add multiple tags in one go for a specific category. Click the + sign to create a list of tags you want to create in one category.

    example: in this example we create a tag for a specific client for which several pages are created . For all canvas pages created for this client we would like to have a "Client X" label.


    Enter the name of the tag you want to add.
    Use the + sign to create multiple tags at once.

  3. Select a category

    Each tag needs to be added to a category. You can select from an already existing category or create a new category by clicking the + Add link.

    example: In this example we select the already existing "Clients" category


  4. Select Canvas module

    Tags can be used in different modules throughout the Jobrock suite. In order to use tags to label an canvas pages select the Canvas tickbox.

    Select "Canvas" tickbox.
  5. Save the tag

    The last step is to save the tag. Click the Save button. The pop-up will close and the created tag will now be listed.
