Jobrock SF app update - v1.87
A new version (1.87) of the Jobrock Salesforce app has been released. We recommend to always install the latest version . Contact your ATS or Salesforce partner to verify what is required to perform this update for your situation/ installation.
In this update:
WhatsApp 'Read' button
A new "Read" button is now available in the WhatsApp widget on a contact/CiW record when opnening.
The current situation:
The widget puts messages automatically on 'read' once the WhatsApp widget on a contact or CiW is opened.
New situation after update:
The user needs to click the "Read" (this button is new) button in order to change the unread status of the message. Jobrock will mark the message as read once this button is clicked. This will improve the WhatsApp inbox significantly.
Other ways to mark an unread message as 'read' instead of using the new button:
A. Reply to the message
B. Close the conversation
In practice a user probably wont haven to click the button a lot. All 3 options to close a chat are interactions from a user which makes it different to the previous configuration.

Addition to permission sets
The new "WhatsAppIncoming" Apex-class has been added to the "Jobrock-Admin access" as the "Jobrock-Recruiter Access" for optimal integration.
User in WhatsApp conversation options
Conversation options which are created from incoming messages from contacts will show "Salesforce API-user" as the user who created the messages. This replaces the default "Automated Process" to reduce confusion.
Improvement of WhatsApp logs
WhatsApp logs now contain "ConversationID" and "ContactID" for better tracking and clarity of message streams.
Other updates
Several small enhancements under the hood which improve speed and user experience.
