Connect “Jobrock” to Salesforce
Click "Connect to Salesforce" and log in using your standard Salesforce credentials.
NOTE: Jobrock does not require a separate user account/password as it uses Salesforce's secure encrypted OAuth connection.
NOTE: If you believe you are using the correct username and password but still see an error message, try selecting the "Use Custom Domain" link below the login button.
TIP: Your custom domain is usually present in your Salesforce account URL once you are logged in. For example, in the URL "https://jobrock.my.salesforce.com," the Custom Domain is "jobrock."
Pin the Jobrock Extension to Your Chrome Toolbar
Do you see the extension in Chrome at all times?
If not, click the Extensions (jigsaw puzzle) icon in the top right of your Chrome browser and then click the 'Pin' icon. When the pin turns blue, the Jobrock icon will stay pinned for easy access.
Maximize and Minimize the Extension
The extension can now be maximized to full screen height. This allows you to see more options within the extension, which is very useful.
Salesforce search
No need to open Salesforce to search. You can search directly from Jobrock at any time!
Create Records from Anywhere
You can create new objects in Salesforce quickly from anywhere, even if you're not on an integrated record page. The "+" button is a global create button that works on any website.
Salesforce Suggestions
Exact Match: We need to match a record based on the Source Profile URL. To use this feature, have your Salesforce admin follow the necessary setup.
A "Match" or "Regular Match" indicates that we have found a record that matches the given First Name and Last Name. We utilize "Fuzzy Matching" to ensure names like "Marc Beni" and "Marc Benioff" are matched together wherever possible.
Possible Match: This means that we have found a record that matches only based on the First Name and Last Name. We have not found any other information, such as a common company associated with the record. For common names like 'Marc Benioff,' this approach might result in matching the wrong person.
